JFK to Casablanca. Worst airline I've ever flown, by far. Traveled in June and was held, along with 200+ other passengers in a holding cell for 12 hours without explanation of why the flight was being delayed. Passengers were told if they left the holding area they would not be allowed to re-check. Crying babies, hungry and tired parents...it was like a refugee camp. Finally departed 12 hours late and, of course, upon arrival in Casablanca, no bags. Took them 4 days to get my bags from NY. My wife had to return to Casablanca on 9/22 on short notice for a family emergency and so we had to use them again....big mistake. This time, they closed the check-in 1.5 hours before departure and refused to let anyone else board. Left my wife to find her own hotel and transportation and told her to come back tomorrow and rebook at no additional cost. When my wife returned the next day, they cancelled her old ticket, charged her an upgrade fee + change fee + another fee which I still haven't gotten explanation for. $1300 ticket turned into a $1700 ticket all because of their own incompetence. Again, of course, bags were 3 days late. Charged my credit card for 2 tickets + other unexplained fees and when I called to inquire, they were rude and unhelpful and told me I had to email the customer service office. Customer service never bothered to respond. Do yourself a huge favor and pay the extra $100 to fly Air France. They can get you anywhere this incompetent airline called Royal Air Maroc can. If I could give zero stars I would.

Airline Travel Information

When booking an airline flight, there are several methods you can use to get the cheapest flight. Not all flights have discounts, but you can still find great bargains. Airline travel deals are easily found online. To get the cheapest flight available, or at least a discount, try following these tips:

  • Shop online for discount tickets. Online travel agencies often buy blocks of seating and will sell empty seats at rock bottom prices to get their money back.
  • If you have a planned trip, book an advance airline travel reservation to lock in your seat and price
  • If you can travel spur of the moment, try booking a last minute travel flight to get an unsold seat
  • Trying showing military or senior citizen credentials for a discount
  • Be flexible with your travel schedule, airline fares can vary during the day
  • Look for alternate airports near your destination that may be offering cheaper flights
